Charlevoix === CYML === FS2002/2004 Quebec Short Hops 2

Charlevoix is situated on the North shore of the St.Lawrence river 60 nm downstream from Québec Int`l airport. The region is superb as you will notice.

It is just a few miles East of Ile-aux-coudres. It also has a lighthouse as have many of the islands in the area.

Quebec Short Hops 2 includes sceneries along the beautiful St.Lawrence river. These sceneries are made with accent on VFR flying with lots of candies as you go along.

Using a mesh or not could make a difference but nothing to make a fuss about or prevent you from enjoying this scenery. I took my mesh out for this region (see known issues below)

The scenery works fine in FS2004.

As much as possible, I try to find pictures of some of the buildings and monuments. When I can, I reproduce those as best I can. Ile=aux=coudres has a few of those items.

With each of my sceneries, I include many photos so you can know what to search for. I have this habit of spreading candies and items around.

Anyway, the idea is to make it look nice and have lots of fun.

==================================

I wish to thank John de Langristin for the old car that I used to make my yellow. blue and red versions. I thank Jim Jackson (Northern Exposure) for his picnic tables. I thank Larry Farmer for his nice trees and Mobil gas pump, Thanks also to Tom Fica for his nice trucks and old fuel barrels and propane tank. I thank also Morton Rupp who created the wooden water tank, a real masterpiece and also made the blue hangar with the rainwater collecting tank.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program and textures "Airport for Windows" and also Matthias Brückner for the program EOD which I used to make my macros.

I also owe big thanks to Jerry Kemp Bob Arther and Tom Constantine for testing the beta versions of this scenery.

I hope I did not forget anyone. If so, I am very sorry and please send me a note.

KNOWN ISSUES:
-you will notice that the road is a lot wider then the covered bridge. You have to ask Bill Gates about this one. There is no
way I could fix this. Should I have made the bridge bigger,
everything else would be out of proportion.

-I have removed the mesh for this region. Should you have problems
with the elevation or location of some items, try it. It should
solve the problem. In the documentation accompanying the mesh download there should be a map to guide you.

NOTE: for Québec Short Hops 2, there are no necessary preliminary installation or file required. Each scenery can be installed individually as you normally install any scenery.

-to hear the sounds, birds, church bell, plane flyby etc., you must have the Lago program FSSC.

Copy the Charlevoix.cfg to your:
C\Program Files\MicrosoftGames\

The rest is like any other normal scenery.
